The morning after McKenzie's wedding, Casey, Kevin, and I set off for California in the U-Haul with all of Casey and Bryan's earthly possessions. It was a LOOOONNNG drive but we made it. We unpacked the U-Haul in 25 minutes! Unpacking everything was another story. We took a little time off to do a little sightseeing. Casey and Bryan showed us around Stanford University (calling it HUGE would be an understatement!), Palo Alto, Half Moon Bay, Google. Palo Alto is a town with lots of personality and I know they are going to love it. Their apartment is nice and in a great location. They are so excited and I can see why! It will be a great place for them to start this new chapter in their lives!

Only my brothers and sisters would appreciate my taking a picture of the "BM" on the mountain! |

This is the extent of what there is to see on the drive through Nevada! |
|
Amazing how the views changed almost as soon as we crossed the border into California! |

Let the unpacking begin! |

Time out for a steak fajita or two at Chevy's. |

This is Kevin's rendition of the Heisman trophy pose, since he is standing in front of the Stanford football stadium. |

I love these kind of trees that are all over California. The bark comes off in strips. Anyone know what these trees are called? |
|
Swag Daddy. This is for you, Ashley!

At Half Moon bay, we ate at the Flying Fish Grill. Casey had the grilled salmon. |

Bryan had the Crab Louie. |
