It's been a crazy year but we have managed to get through it!
Kevin- Working with Ivy/Intermountain Health and a YSA ward. Gets the award for being the #1 sports dad! Is now coaching Abby on a bantam league basketball team.
Amy- was released from Young Women after 7 ½ years. Just called to do Webelos, which will start in January. A new adventure. Busy with school. Even with all the craziness, feels fortunate to be married to a great guy and mother to 4 wonderful girls.
Casey and Bryan- Spent the summer in San Francisco, California where Bryan had an internship with Wells Fargo. They will be heading back to California, this time to Palo Alto, where Bryan has accepted a position with Wells Fargo’s Life Sciences group. Casey is graduating from BYU this semester and Bryan next semester, so they will be walking together in April. We are so proud of both of them. Casey is graduating in Public Relations and Bryan in Finance. Casey is currently deciding between job offers, and before they move to California, they have the opportunity to go to Asia for the month of May to work on some finance projects with BYU.
Courtney-
graduated from high school.
Received the All-Around Student Athlete Award. On to BYU and the dorms. Called to serve an LDS mission in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin and will leave Jan. 15!
Ashley- Enjoyed a trip to NYC with Amy in honor of her 16th birthday. Continues to be busy with school, where she is a junior this year. Received 2nd team all-region for soccer. Basketball is starting up again. Also enjoys singing in Timpview’s a cappella choir.
Abby- Continues to love and enjoy life and keep us all happy. In 7th grade this year. Being coached by her dad in a bantam league basketball team this year. Still loves baking, babysitting, and tumbling as well as basketball and soccer.
2013 King family Highlights: A family trip to San Francisco to see Casey and Bryan, who were there for the summer. Turned it into a road trip and went to see Amy's sister, Karen and Paul on their mission in Riverside, Calif. and then Disneyland. Courtney and Ashley were on the Timpview girl’s basketball team that took 2nd in state. That was fun! A fun Lake Powell trip with the Merrill’s. Courtney, Ashley, and Abby got their picture on the front page of the November New Era.
We continue to rely on and worship our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the reason for the season! HAPPY 2014 everyone!
