Abby conquers the ski slopes!

So we have been waiting for a nice sunny day for Abby to take ski lessons. Today was the day! She had a great time and learned a lot. Her instructor said she "appreciated her enthusiasm"! Yep, that's our Abby!

President's Day Weekend!

So while Casey was in New York (by the way, we found out on Thursday that Casey got accepted to BYU!!) the rest of our family was in all directions. Kevin, Courtney, and Ashley went to St. George where they both were in a soccer tournament. Abby and I stayed home so I could attend a 3 hour class up at Westminster Sat. morning. We were going to go to St. George after that, but because of the snowstorm, we decided to stay home. The highlight our weekend was going ice skating, which I stink at, but which I went anyway because that's what Abby wanted to do! We had a nice, quiet weekend. The soccer tournament was fun for all involved even though neither team did very well. Here are a couple pictures from St. George. I don't have any pictures of Abby and me skating because everyone else had all the cameras!

Casey's Excellent Adventure!

Casey had the great opportunity to go to NYC last week with some family friends and had the time of her life! Here are a few photos from her trip. Some of the highlights were: the BCBG fashion show, Central Park, Mary Poppins, China town bargain hunting, Museum of Natural History, Metropolitan Art, and going to church where she was one of 4 Young Women. By the way- that is a photo of Michael J. Fox. He was filming something.

Draper Temple Open House

We got to go through the Draper Temple on Friday. Kevin's parents went with us. It was beautiful. Laurie said they went that night too. Just a little later. Ashley and Abby had never been through a temple before. We all thought it was pretty neat. I loved the feeling I had in the Celestial room. We went out to eat afterwards but the only place we found that didn't have a line was IHOP! Talk about anti-climactic!
It was still a wonderful evening!
