Dear Grandma Thomas

When I snapped this picture with Mom on Fri. Jan. 31st, little did I know it would be the last one.  : (

Sun. Feb. 2, Spring Gardens told us she had fallen again and had not bounced back as in the past.
We were told that they felt she would pass from this life within 72 hours.

We had someone with Mom at all times.  Jeff and Sam even slept over.  We didn't want Mom to be alone when she passed.

Tender family time

With a snow storm thrown in for good measure.  The school district called a snow day on Monday.
I would have taken it off anyway.

Lots of family time

Funeral preparations

Two cute pregnant cousins

Even though there was so much going on,
went ahead and moved Mom's stuff out
of Spring Gardens while there were still plenty of
people to help.
