Abby =1 decade!

Can it be true that our baby is now 10 years old?!

Here are some picture highlights of the week long celebration. As a family, we celebrated on Sunday, since her actual birthday on Wednesday was going to be too hectic. We capped it off by a birthday party with her friends on Friday afternoon/evening.

That's 10- count'em- 10 years old!

Timpview Soccer State play offs pt.2

Courtney's second play off game was at East High. We were thinking that since Courtney's number is 14 and Troy Bolton's number was also 14, and we were going to be playing at East High where High School Musical was filmed, that it would be a good omen. (Did you follow all that?) But, alas, it was not to be and East High won. On the bright side, Courtney had a lot of fans there to cheer her on. Grandma Thomas, Laurie, Allison and Sophie all came (besides her family). They were all there to see her get a bloody nose after her nose collided with the ball and an opponent's head. (Amy gets extra credit for not running on the field when Courtney went down.)

There was someone dressed up as big grassy Bigfoot. That's kind of random!

How old do you think this line judge was??

Timpview Soccer State play offs pt.1

The first game was against Maple Mountain. It was 0-0 at the end of regulation play and went into double overtime. When there was still no score it went into a shoot-out. We ended up winning thanks to some great moves from our goalie, Nish!

Happy Sweet 16 COURTNEY!

Courtney turned 16 on Oct. 6 and had a pretty fun day! Her day started with some cute Senior boys bringing her balloons and flowers to her first class of the day. Then we had lunch for her and some friends at home. We opened presents later on in the evening. She got an iPod touch which she was pretty happy about. Amy and Courtney were going to go to NYC during Fall Break, which was the same week as her birthday, but it didn't work out because of state play-offs for soccer. Hopefully, we will be able to make that trip during Spring Break instead. Happy Birthday dear Courtney!! We love you!
