King Christmas card 2010

Our online Christmas greetings will have to do this year!

Merry Christmas to our wonderful friends and family!

It has been a wonderful, yet challenging 2010 and we look forward to what the new year will bring us.

Abby 10, is in 4th grade and continues to love school and all that goes with it. Her main focus this year has been gymnastics, where she has been spending the majority of her free time. She loves it and is getting pretty good!

Ashley 13, is the Beehive president in our ward. She is the Student body historian at Centennial Middle School this year and continues to excel at whatever she sets her mind to. She is still playing basketball and soccer. Her favorite sport is whatever she is playing at the moment.

Courtney 16 and a sophomore at Timpview High, played on the varsity soccer team and is currently playing varsity basketball. She just got a job working for one of our ward members. She keeps us all entertained with her quick wit.

Casey is loving the college life at BYU, which gives her the best of both worlds since she is close enough to come home whenever she needs to! She is majoring in humanities and is still working in the MBA office. We are proud of the wise and responsible young adult she is becoming.

Amy: recently released as YW Camp director but still 1st counselor in the Young Women presidency. Working at Edgemont as the special education facilitator, which is more administration than teaching but still gets to work a little with some great kids.

Kevin: Continues to earn “Father of the Year” award for supporting all the kid’s activities. Still especially loves co-coaching Ashley’s basketball team.

As a family, we squeezed in a couple camping trips and a Lake Powell expedition. We enjoyed a Thomas family celebration of Amy’s mom’s 80th birthday in October. You can keep up with us at our family blog: kevinkingfamily.blogspot.com. Please give us your blog address and we will follow you, too.

Well, we wish you a wonderful 2011! We testify that among the challenges of life, the hand of God is still apparent in the daily details. We pray for your health and happiness in the coming year.

Love,
The King family
