Amy's Chicago Outing

I was asked by my principal, along with another teacher, Terri, at our school, to go to a PBIS conference (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) in Chicago last week. My principal and his wife also attended.  We had a great time and learned a lot!
Terri and I were enthralled with the view of the Chicago river from our hotel room.

A closer view of the ice in the river.

Terri's sister lives in Chicago and took us to a good pizza place to sample Chicago-style pizza!

They allow, and even encourage, people to graffiti their walls!

Chicago-style pizza.  Cheese first and then sauce.

Creme Brulee at the Italian restaurant we ate at one night.

Nathan Hale- "I regret that I have but one life to give for my country."

When we came back from our conference on Thursday night, the ice had moved!

More of the view that captivated us.  I am very easily entertained!

The view of Lake Michigan from our hotel.

We went to see the Bulls play at the United Center.  We were hoping to see Jimmer play, but no luck!

The view from our seats!

Me, Terri, and her sister, Candy.  Candy was a great tour guide!

This was on the wall of the former library.  This is how I feel about books!!

Selfie at the bean!

The Bean is at Millenium Park.

I saw lots of cars from Wisconsin and always thought of Courtney!
