It's the end of a long couple weeks and here are a few pictures to document not only that we are surviving, but we are thriving.
First off, coming out of the parking lot after a soccer game, there was a lovely sunset.
Next, here are a couple of our cute YW after we did baptisms for the dead a couple Wednesdays ago.
Then, the first day of school...
But wait, there's more. There was a gorgeous rainbow and cloud pattern last night as I was leaving Target. I wish the lamp post wasn't in the way in the cloud picture, but, oh well!
Lastly, Kevin got to take some time off to go scouting elk with Greg and Trevor. You have to look carefully. Since they are in camo, there are hard to see! (Ha ha!)

Family Pictures
I haven't been blogging much so I thought I would just throw in a couple pictures from the last little while. The first is a picture of me and my girls up at Camp. They have the benefit of sunglasses and I have the benefit of residue of my eyes swelling up in consequence of an allergy to something at Camp. (Maybe it is actually Camp that I am allergic to!)
Then there is a picture of us last Sunday with Maddy and Joe. Maddy spent part of Sat. and went to church with us Sunday.
Next is a preview of our family pictures that were taken last Friday night.
Then I thought I would throw in one of Casey with her boyfriend, Bryan. He has been here in Provo attending BYU for summer term but is now going back to Oregon, where he is from, and then to the University of Washington, where he goes to school. Bryan has been a fixture at our home these last couple months so it will be strange to not have him around. On the other hand, we will get to see a bit more of Casey before she moves out in a few weeks. Needless to say, Casey is pretty bummed.

We haven't posted about soccer lately.....
Neighborhood party
We had a great Neighborhood get together on the evening of July 24th. The weather got a bit soggy a little over an hour into it. We just moved the food tables into the garage and kept partying! We had to hold off on the fireworks until the next evening. A saying I have adopted from a friend is "Company trumps weather" and that definitely is the case! We are lucky to live among such great people.
