Our joint YM/YW Activity last night was a great success! We called it "Dancing with the Stars". Lee and Linda Wakefield headed it up. They used some of their students that are on the BYU ballroom dancing teams. They teamed up with 6 of our youth and they each presented a dance. Then they taught all our YM and YW some cha cha steps. Everyone participated and everyone had a good time.
It was so fun to see Ashley as one of the dancers. Her dance had lots of lifts and her dress was so elegant. It was fun to see her try something besides basketball and soccer. (Not that there is anything wrong with those!) It is always fun to bask in the afterglow of a successful youth activity!
