Dancing With the Stars

Our joint YM/YW Activity last night was a great success! We called it "Dancing with the Stars". Lee and Linda Wakefield headed it up. They used some of their students that are on the BYU ballroom dancing teams. They teamed up with 6 of our youth and they each presented a dance. Then they taught all our YM and YW some cha cha steps. Everyone participated and everyone had a good time.

It was so fun to see Ashley as one of the dancers. Her dance had lots of lifts and her dress was so elegant. It was fun to see her try something besides basketball and soccer. (Not that there is anything wrong with those!) It is always fun to bask in the afterglow of a successful youth activity!

New Family History Blog

I have finally done something with the family history blog that I started 3 years ago! There is still a lot to do, but I am excited to at least get started! Take a look and tell me what you think. I still have to figure out how to get pedigree charts and family group sheets on.

Singin in the Rain at the Scera Shell

Casey, Courtney, Abby, Grandma, Laurie, Natalie, and I went to Singin in the Rain at the Scera Shell. It was good. The problem is that we saw Singin in the Rain at the Hale Theater last year and it was so phenomenal that anything less just couldn't compare.
