Summer is officially over

Casey moved out again and is living with some fun girls. Their place is quite close to campus. We miss her already!

First day of School!

Well, it's been a busy week, to put it mildly! Here are pictures of Abby, Ashley, and Courtney, and me on our first days.




Friday night after a long week and I was still working away at school, so Kevin and the girls surprised me and brought dinner. We had a nice dinner together! I thought that was cute of them!

More soccer...

We had soccer on two ends of the state this weekend. Ashley's team took 2nd in the Sparta tournament in SLC. Ashley's highlight was scoring the only 2 goals for her team in the final game. Unfortunately, they lost 3-2.

Courtney spent the weekend in St. George with the Timpview High soccer team. They played Hurricane and lost on Friday, but came back and beat Dixie the next day. Kevin went down to do some work and also catch the games.

And what did the rest of us do this weekend? We cheered our athletes from the sidelines! (In between Ashley's games, we took in the Living Planet Aquarium. If I get some time, I will add a picture from that.)

Have I mentioned that Courtney made the varsity soccer team??!!

We are so proud of Courtney! Tonight was the first pre-season game. It was against Lone Peak. Courtney got plenty of playing time and held her own. The score was 2-2 at the end of regulation time and TImpview ended up winning 3-2 with a sudden death goal just 48 seconds into overtime. It was a great way to start the season!

On a sidenote, yes, I know these are not good pictures. The soccer field is too far away to get any good shots without a telephoto lens but at least you can kind of tell they are her. I didn't get any good pictures last year when she played on the jv team. I would rather have blurry pictures than no pictures at all, I guess.
