More on our Ensign picture.....
So Kevin dropped Casey off at work this morning and, on the way home, he stopped at a convenience store to get a drink. When he went to pay for his drink, the cashier said, "Hey, isn't your picture in the Conference issue of the Ensign?" This was a complete stranger. My thoughts on this are either: A) Kevin has the kind of face that you just can't forget or B) That guy really studies his conference issue!
We have had people we know recognize us, but never just a regular guy off the street.
I didn't post the picture before, but I thought I would go ahead just for fun.

What is Christmas without kids?
What would we do without our sweet little Abby? I am so glad we still have a child in our home amongst all the teenagers and teenager wannabes! It makes Christmas so much more fun. Here is a shot of Abby with the hat and scarf Grandma King gave her. The dolls aren't new but Grandma also got her some new clothes for the dolls. The mittens are from Casey. So cute!

Christmas 2009!
Here we are at our 2nd annual Christmas Eve Bowling Outing with Greg and Lynnell and their family. Do you love our Christmas sweaters?!
Here is one of the zillion or so pictures that Abby took of me!
McKenzie, Trevor, and Casey
Courtney shows us how it is done!
Then we headed to Kevin's folks for a yummy prime rib dinner and Christmas pageant. Mary- Abby, Joseph- Brody, Angel- Bentley
Amy with all her Christmas sweatered daughters.
A little too much cousin and sisterly love...
Waiting for the official "okey dokey" to come upstairs
The first look
Kevin demonstrates how his new BYU snuggie works!
Courtney and Ashley with their new cell phones! What is Ashley going to bug us about now? I am sure she'll find something.
Abby got the DS lite that she had been hoping and praying for!

Viva Las Vegas!
Kevin has taken the three oldest girls to the Vegas Bowl and Abby and I have stayed home, but Kevin wanted the whole family to go this year, so we took off on Monday the 21st. We did some Christmas shopping in St. George in the afternoon while Kevin worked and then we headed to Vegas. Kevin and I were so happy to expose our girls to pole dancers in the Planet Hollywood Casino on the way to check into our rooms. :( But once we got past that, our rooms were pretty cool. The next morning we walked around and had a yummy breakfast at a restaurant in the mall connected to the hotel. There were plenty of other BYU fans roaming around.
We had a traditional pre-game meal at In and Out Burger and then headed to Sam Boyd Stadium. The weather wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't been windy. We were dressed for the cold but it was still pretty nippy.
It was a fun game, although we were a little nervous when Oregon State scored right away. But then it was all BYU. In fact, we left the game with about 7 minutes to go. Kevin would usually never do something like leave a game early but it was pretty cold and he was worried about the traffic. Since it was pretty certain we were going to win, we headed back to St. George. Good old Abbey Inn- you don't have to worry about pole dancers there!
Anyway, it was a fun pre-Christmas activity and the whole family was able to go. Casey hasn't always been available so it was fun that she got to come too!

Thanksgiving weekend
These are just some misc. photos from Thanksgiving that I am finally getting around to putting up. It was fun family time.
Here we are in front on Kevin's parent's home. I think we take a picture like this about every year.
Trying to get in some football viewing or praying or praying for the football game or praying someone will get off the bed and you can take their space!
My favorite thing is when the girls sit down and play Christmas music duets! Does it get better than this?
Ashley and Abby worked on some gingerbread houses. We started with parts for two and ended up with only one at the end, but they had fun!
Kevin's favorite time of the year is lugging the Christmas tree up the stairs!
Putting the Christmas tree up. I'll post a picture of the finished product later.
