Brace Face

So Abby got braces this morning.  Here are a couple pictures of BEFORE and then a couple pictures of AFTER.  She enjoyed her last carmel apple Sunday night and we will celebrate a couple years from now when she gets them off.  She will get the bottom braces on in a few weeks.

Grandma's Annual Easter Party

 Grandma's annual Easter party was pushed back a couple weeks so that we could include McKenzie, who got back from BYU- Hawaii on Tuesday.  It was a beautiful day for a get-together!  Thanks Grandma!

Prom 2012

 Prom was last night, Friday April 20, 2012.  Courtney's date was Seth Gartz. They had a fun time.  Since I hadn't posted them yet, I thought I would put in the pictures of the chicken Seth put on our front porch to invite Courtney to prom.  Kevin was out of town and we could not get the chicken back in the box.  Finally, our neighbor came and helped us catch it!

The boys came and kidnapped Courtney for breakfast in the morning, then they had a day date that was paint balling.  Courtney couldn't do much of, and then the evening dance.  McKenzie (back from Hawaii!) and her good friend, Shelby, came to do her hair and makeup.

It was a great day!

Spring break 2012

We did a little bit of everything for spring break this year. Cousin sleepovers, Family picnics, wedding shopping, sleeping in, prom dress shopping, eating out, etc. It started off with Easter. We didn't have Grandma King's famous Easter party because we want to wait until McKenzie gets back from school. We did have our annual King girls Easter treasure hunt.

Then we celebrated Kevin's birthday. We went to a movie, "Mirror, Mirror" which was kind of dumb. Then we went to eat at our favorite Thai restaurant, Spicy Thai.

Most of the rest of the break was spent shopping for either Courtney's prom dress or Casey's wedding dress, both of which were purchased!

It was a relaxing break!
