"One Tough Gal"

Those are the words that Dr. Jackson used to describe Courtney. She has been having significant trouble with her knee for about 6-7 months. She had an MRI last week that showed a meniscus tear in her knee. It was decided that the best thing to do would be for her to have the surgery right away. Luckily, we were able to do just that, thanks to Dr. Scott Jackson, a fantastic orthopedic surgeon who is in our stake and who has a daughter on Courtney's team. That was so nice of him!
When Dr. Jackson came out of surgery, he said he was amazed that Courtney had been playing on it (with a brace) and that she must be one tough gal to play with such a big tear. Yes, we are right in the middle of soccer season! We are hoping that she will only be out 2 weeks.
