Memorial Day Weekend with the King family

We had a soggy but wonderful time at Yellowpine with Kevin's family. Casey wasn't able to come because she had to work, but she came out on Sun. afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa King for a few hours.

It was a GREAT trip!

Casey's Last Friends Lunch of the Year!

On and off throughout the year, Casey has been bringing home some friends for lunch, since we live so close to the school. Here are some photos from (probably) the last friends lunch of the year.

Edgemont 5K Fun Run

The Edgemont Elementary 5K Run/Walk was today! (How great that the weather was so much better today than yesterday.) Ashley was the fastest 5th grade girl! Hooray for Ashley! She is really a determined girl!

Abby ran/walked it for the first time and did very well. She was more into socializing than getting there first but she still did great. That is a long way for a first grader. (Last year she was really determined and won the severely shortened race. She was first out of all Kindergarteners-- even the boys!) This year, she stopped to smell a few daisies, but that is a good thing, too!

The two fastest boys in the whole school won it again this year. They are both 4th graders and they both won it last year too. They were only 3rd graders at the time!! That is amazing!

Also- on another topic, we just found out today that CASEY got into the madrigals singing group which is the highest singing level at Timpview so we are all VERY excited and happy for Casey!
