My day was so fun! I got a card from my brother, Sam, which really touched me because I know how busy he is. That was so sweet of him to think of me. I sure love him! I might also mention that Auntie Arlene took me to lunch at Goodwood the day before. It was yummy and we had such a good time. She is one of the funnest people I know!
Then all my sisters came over to my house for a BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch) and we had a fantastic time. They are great people and I love them so much. I am so lucky to be related to some great people! I also would like to add that Ashley and Stephanie made me a really cute candy bar poster.
Then Kevin took me to dinner. We used a gift certificate from Red Lobster that Auntie Arlene has given us for our anniversary that we hadn't had a chance to use yet. It was delicious!
We took a piece of cake over to Howard Biddulph whose birthday is the same day as mine and we had a nice visit with him and his wife, Colleen. They are both such great people. Then we went home and watched a movie with Ashley and Abby. We watched "Dear Frankie". It is such a sweet movie. It is one of my favorites. (There are just a couple swear words, but we have an edited copy.)
We didn't get a chance to open my presents until Sat. morning. My family did a great job! A new toaster! We really needed that! A bag for my temple clothes, the Anne of Green Gables DVD set (all 3 movies!), and the movie Enchanted. What a nice family I have. I really am so lucky!
It was such a great day. Thank you to everyone for helping to make it so wonderful!
